Our T&E consultants have in-the-field Defence Trial Manager experience to assist capability projects to INFORM, SELECT and CONFIRM.

Inform consists of testing a concept, system platform or sub-system (component) to inform the project planning through identification of user requirements, technical or other project risks and testing the maturity of a concept or system; including upgrade needs and integration risks.

Select is achieved through testing conducted on the system or equipment to confirm the manufactures claims of functionality. This element of T&E will help in down-selecting from various options that are being considered.

Confirm occurs when testing is completed to determine the capability, system or equipment item is safe and fit for purpose in an operational context including mission assurance. The testing determines whether specific requirements have been fulfilled or not.

Our BVDL consultants offer a range of services to meet the needs of T&E activities, including assistance with planning, conducting, and reporting of testing, trials and/or demonstrations. The type of T&E required will be dependent on the stage of the capability life cycle. For example, whether the system or product is in the development, purchasing or introduction into service phase.
